World Class Musician & Orator:

DreamingBear is a world-class musician and performs with the Hang (and other rare instruments), a unique “ancient-future instrument” that has an otherworldly sound, in a myriad of festivals, concerts, and mainstream venues around the world! The Hang [hung] is a musical instrument in the idiophone class created in the year 2000 by PANArt in Switzerland. The Hang is made from two deep drawn nitrided steel sheets that are attached together creating the recognizable 'UFO shape'. The Hang uses some of the same physical principles as a steelpan but with a nitrided surface and structural change so that the instrument is a Helmholtz Resonator. The creation of the Hang was the result of many years of research on the steelpan as well as the study of a diverse collection of instruments from around the world such as gongs, gamelan, ghatam/udu, drums, and bells.

Spiritual Keynote Speaking:

DreamingBear began traveling to the spiritual centers of the world at as an inspirational speaker the age of 18. After serving for years in a humanitarian program designed to bring help to the poorest regions including nursing homes, hospitals, schools, churches, and spiritual centers of ALL faiths with a message of unity, self-actualization, and love. For the last several years DreamingBear has been on a nationwide Unity Church Tour, and is available to perform both the in service message as well as a two hour Playshop in the afternoon after the Sunday service.

DreamingBear is a licensed Hawaiian minister with the Temple of Peace on Maui (visit templeofpeacemaui.org) and has been performing wedding ceremonies and rites of passage for the past eighteen years.  When it comes to officiating, DreamingBear can also Emcee your event to create an atmosphere of elegance and fun (coordinating all the players) so that you can relax and enjoy this auspicious occasion. Although Maui is where most of his ceremonies occur, he also travels to bring the enchantment elsewhere. DreamingBear has been a teacher of children through the art of storytelling and music for over twenty years. Drawing from the power of imagination and the spirit of innocence, DreamingBear has entertained children of all ages in schools across the world. DreamingBear also leads children's camps, and day playshops in which he inspires the children to explore their creative potential as a tool for making the world a more beautiful place. Activities include artistic expression by way of craft making, nature guidance, storytelling, and creative writing among other things. All children's playshops are designed to give a deeper sense of connection to the earth, family, and a greater sense of global community awareness.
